Renew Your License (Continuing Education)
Michigan Plumbing Contractors are required to complete 5 hours of continuing education prior to each renewal. Licenses expire on april 30th.
- 5 Hour Online CE: $89
All Electrical licenses in Michigan are required to take approved continuing education for renewal; however, the licenses expire at different times. Journeyman and Master Electrician licenses expire annually on December 31st.
- 10 Hour Online CE: $89
- 15 Hour Online CE: $119

Obtain Your License (Exam Prep)
When constructing or altering a residential or combination residential and commercial structure, a Residential Builders license is required. To obtain a license, you must first complete a 60 hour pre-licensing course and then pass the required exams. Check requirements and details about the application procedure on this page.
