- Will my completion be reported to the state board?
- We report the next business day (where allowed). Check course page for state-specific details. Instant certificate provided; some states require you to retain it for audits.
- Can I get credit if I need continuing education (CE) courses for multiple states with overlapping content?
- Yes! To save you time when courses share identical content, we offer a Section Equivalency Credit policy:
- If two (or more) courses contain exactly the same sections (same title, same year/code version, identical content), we can transfer credit for those sections so you don’t have to repeat the exact same material.
- This is not automatic – you must contact us after completing the first course.
- Credit is given only for exactly identical sections. Example: A course based on the 2020 NEC and one based on the 2017 NEC are considered different and cannot share credit.
- Lessons completed more than 365 days ago are not eligible for credit.
- Even when we mark sections (or the entire course) as complete for you, you must still log into the second course at least once and enter your name and license number. We cannot submit your completion to the state without this information.
How the Section Equivalency Credit process works:
- Purchase and fully complete the first course.
- After finishing the first course, contact our support team (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or use the contact form) and tell us:
- The course(s) you’ve purchased
- That you’ve completed the first one and want credit applied to the second (or additional) course(s)
- We will manually review and mark the identical sections as complete in the second course. If every section is identical, we can mark the entire course as complete. If only some sections match, only those will be marked complete (you’ll still need to finish any unique or state-specific sections).
- Log into the second course at least once to provide/confirm your license information so we can report your completion to the state.
- Discounts may be available when purchasing multiple similar courses (ask our support team or check at checkout for current offers)
Important: We submit completions to the state the next business day and cannot backdate certificates, so please request credit as soon as you finish the first course.

- Why are my CE topics not relevant to my trade?
- All courses are board-approved. Topics provide well-rounded education (e.g., business content). If enrolled incorrectly, contact support—we'll verify and move you if needed.

- What is the "No Pass No Pay" policy?
- Pass guarantee: If you don't pass within 1 year (after full completion, passing quizzes once, practice exams 5 times, using recommended books/tabs), we'll refund the course cost (excludes books/tabs/shipping/fees). Provide score report; apply within 13 months. Not available in TN or states prohibiting it; CA Television Education courses excluded. Access revoked upon refund.
- What qualifies as experience?
- Qualifying experience typically includes hands-on work, training, or employment in your specific trade, as defined by the licensing board or testing authority. This may involve documented hours working under a licensed professional, relevant project involvement, or formal apprenticeships. Requirements vary by trade and state, so we recommend checking with your licensing board for specific criteria. - All CE courses are state-approved. Check "approval info" section on course page (includes agency details). Verify on state website if needed.
- Can I get more time to take the exam?
- Testing providers may offer ADA accommodations (e.g., extra time for disabilities). Provide documentation; contact them directly.
- How long does it take to study for an exam?
- Varies by experience/exam; typically 20-40 hours recommended. Best readiness indicator: Consistently passing the Test Simulation.
- Your website says a course is coming soon. When will the course be available?
- Timelines vary by complexity. Contact support for estimates—we'll notify you when ready.
- Does RocketCert provide the licensing exams?
- No—exams administered by third parties (e.g., PSI, ProV, Pearson Vue).

- Is this course available in Spanish?

- Contact support. We can review timestamps and manually mark completed sections so you get full credit. Continue to the next sections in the meantime.
- How do I fix my facial recognition ID check that is not working?
- Try a different device (smartphone, tablet, laptop). Ensure good lighting and clear face view. If issues persist, contact support—we'll unblock you and assist further.
- Why are my tabs not lining up with my book?
- Common causes: Edition mismatch, wrong book (check tab sheet title vs. book cover), or focusing on irrelevant sections (tabs highlight exam-relevant parts only). Contact support for assistance or adjusted tabs.
