Obtain or Renew Your License in Rhode Island
Rhode Island splits most trade licenses into two classes: Master and Journeyperson. In order to obtain any license, applicants must score a passing score on the trade exam in addition to meeting application requirements.
5 Hours of continuing education are required for each renewal (every 2 years). Renewal dates are based upon original license dates.
