Kentucky Licensing
Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC work is regulated by the state in Kentucky. Construction (or general contractors) licensing is regulated at the city/county level. For example, Louisville and Lexington have licensing requirements for this type of work.
Electricians, Plumbers, and HVACR licensees will require 6 hours of continuing education each renewal. If you hold an electrical license and an electrical contractor license, you will need an additional 6 hours of continuing education (12 total).

In Kentucky, General Contractor licenses are not regulated on a state level. Instead, these licenses are regulated on a city or county level. Louisville requires residential contractors to complete 6 hours of continuing education every year in order to renew their license.
