Building Inspectors are responsible for conducting inspections of buildings at various stages of construction, renovation, or alteration to ensure compliance with the Michigan Building Code and applicable regulations. They assess structural integrity, fire safety measures, accessibility features, electrical and plumbing systems, and other components to verify compliance with building standards.
Building Plan Reviewers are responsible for reviewing and evaluating building plans and specifications to ensure compliance with the Michigan Building Code and relevant regulations. They meticulously examine architectural designs, structural plans, fire protection systems, mechanical and electrical layouts, and other aspects of building plans.
