A Maine low energy license is a great step in any electrician’s career. With this license, you can work with electrical systems that are limited in power and gain the crucial experience needed to move into higher-earning roles.

Getting your low energy license in Maine doesn’t have to be difficult. Here’s exactly what you can do to get your license and increase your career mobility.

What a Maine Low Energy License Allows You to Do

A low energy license is a limited electrician license that qualifies you to work on electrical systems of 98 volts or lower. These include computer wiring, radios, telephone systems, appliances, thermostats, and other low-voltage systems.

Some electricians with this license enjoy what they do and continue to work on low-voltage circuits. For others, the low energy license is an important foundation for a more varied career. As a licensed electrician, you have seemingly endless career paths, which makes getting a Maine low energy license all the more valuable.
