Initial Kentucky home inspector licenses expire on the last day of the licensee's birth month of the following year. After that, home inspector licenses expire on the last day of the licensee's birth month of each even-numbered year after the date of issuance of the renewed license. To renew, licensees must complete 14 hours of CE the first renewal period. After first renewal, 28 hours of continuing education courses are due every two-year renewal cycle.
