Here you can find all the information you need on obtaining your Food Handler Card in New Mexico including how to obtain or renew your certification.
The state of New Mexico requires food employees who handle food, utensils, or food contact surfaces to obtain a Food Handler Card. Employees are required to obtain this certification within 30 days of their employment. If you are already certified as a Food Protection Manager (CFPM) you do not need a food handler card. Our training course will provide you with this required certification and crucial knowledge on how to ensure all food is prepared and served safely. Based on studies by the CDC, the completion of this type of training helps to decrease the spread of foodborne illnesses in restaurants.
In New Mexico, you can obtain your Food Handler Card online. To obtain your certification you must complete a training course and then pass an exam. This certification expires every 3 years from the date it was issued. For re-certification, you'll have to take an approved course and exam again.
With RocketCert, our education is fully narrated and expertly written. We pride ourselves on providing industry leading customer service. Also, if you find a better original price on any online course that we offer, we will beat it by 10%.

New Mexico requires food employees who handle food, utensils, or food contact surfaces to obtain a Food Handler Card. Food Employees who only handle non-TCS foods are exempt, provided the permit holder provides training and maintains record of training
