The state of New Mexico requires food establishments to have at least one employee that has supervisory / management responsibility and authority over food preparation to be certified as a Food Protection Manager (CFPM). How do I become a CFPM in New Mexico?
In New Mexico, you can obtain your Food Protection Manager Certification online. To obtain your, certification you must complete a training course and then pass an exam. This certification expires every 5 years. For re-certification, you'll have to take an approved course and exam again.
