Hair Braider Initial Training
To obtain a Hair Braider license in Tennessee, you must complete 16 hours of training in health and hygiene, either in person or online. How do I obtain my Tennessee Hair Braider license?
In Tennessee, Hair Braider licenses expire every 2 years on the date of licensure. Renewal notices are mailed about one month before your license expiration date. To renew, submit the notice along with any required fees by the expiration date listed on your license. If your renewal is not processed before the expiration date, a late fee will apply, and your license will not be renewed until it is paid.
