Commercial Roofing License
A Commercial Roofing Contractor offers to engage in or solicits residential roofing-related services, including construction, installation, renovation, repair, maintenance, alteration, and waterproofing for both Commercial and Residential projects.

Residential Roofing License
A Residential Roofing Contractor may engage in roofing-related services for residential projects only.
What are the requirements for a roofing license?
Education & Experience Requirements- Proof of 1 year of verifiable roofing experience.
- Three (3) verifiable references.
- Verified passing score for the Business and Law exam.
Legal & Financial Requirements- Submit a compiled financial statement showing a positive net worth excluding the applicants homestead and retirement accounts.
- Compliance with all other state laws and regulations reasonably connected to the performance of commercial building.
- Provide proof of compliance with workers' compensation requirements.
- Obtain fully executed $10,000.00 Contractor’s Bond
How do I obtain a license?
To apply for your license, contact the Arkansas Contractor Licensing Board (ACLB) at 501-372-4661 or visit the Board Website. No continuing education is required for license renewal.

How do I pass the exam?
