In Utah, contractors may hold a license in a specific trade or in a broader category like Building, Engineering, Residential, or Commercial work. These licenses give contractors the authority to undertake specific types of construction projects. This page explains the scope of work and requirements for a General Building Contractor or Residential Small Commercial Contractor license. For these licenses, applicants must pass the Business and Law exam in addition to the trade exam.
Our exam prep is designed to help you pass your test the first time, and is backed by our no pass, no pay policy. All of our courses are available from almost any device, any time. We hope that you will make RocketCert your home to help you obtain your Utah General Contractor License.
