How do I renew my Electrical license in Michigan?

In Michigan, Electrical Contractor licenses expire every 3 years on December 31st. Electrical Master and Journeyman licenses expire every year on December 31st. However, under special considerations, these licenses have until March 1st to renew. All licenses require an electrical code update course that must be taken every 3 years. To renew, you are required to complete at least 15 hours of education and submit your renewal to the State.
