Mechanical Contractor
Mechanical Contractors are unlimited in the execution of contracts to install, maintain, repair, fabricate, alter, extend, or design central air-conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and ventilating systems, including duct work in connection with a complete system. A Mechanical Contractor shall not perform work that involves potable water lines or connections, sanitary sewer lines, swimming pool piping and filters or electrical power wiring.

How do I obtain a license?
To apply for your license, contact the Florida DBPR at 850-487-1395 or visit the Contractor's Board Website.
14 hours of continuing education are required each renewal. Florida may have reciprocity agreements for this license. Contact the licensing board you are applying to see if they have reciprocity agreements for the license you currently hold.

How do I pass the exam?
The Florida exams are open book. The references below are permitted to be tabbed, highlighted, and used during your test! Unfortunately, our online course is NOT permitted to be accessed during the State exam.
