A Journeyman Electrician has the ability to to wire for, install, and repair electrical apparatus and equipment for electric light, heat, and power, and for other purposes.

24 Hours of continuing education are required for each renewal. Also, Colorado has reciprocity agreements with Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.

The Colorado exams are open book, and based on the 2023 NEC. Our Bundle will include a copy of the NEC 2023 for studying, but the testing agency will provide a copy of the code book to be used during the actual exam. The tabs included in the bundle should be used with your copy of the code book in order to become familiar with the location of the content in the book.
