• Batt/roll insulation
• Spray-on application
• Rigid-board and reflective insulation
• Blown or loose-fill insulation
• OSHA safety
• Vapor retarders

You’ll have 75 minutes to complete the exam, and you must answer at least 70% of the questions correctly to pass.

CR-40 Insulation License

The CR-40 insulation license combines the C-40 (commercial) and R-40 (residential) licenses to create a single license that allows for installation and repair services for both residential and commercial clients. As with the C-40 license, you must prove that you have two years of relevant work or managerial experience in your field before you can obtain a license.

You’ll also have to complete the Arizona Statutes and Rules Training Course and Exam (SRE) and pass a trade exam. The CR-40 Insulation exam covers the same subject areas as the C-40 but with a focus on both residential and commercial activities. This open-book test also features 30 questions, 70% of which you must answer correctly, and you’ll have 75 minutes to complete it.
