Application Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Documentation of Completion of 60 Hour Pre-Licensure Program
- Evidence of Passing Score on the NHIE
- Certificate of Insurance with coverage of the following amounts:
- $250,000 or more in General Liability
- $250,000 or more in Errors and Omissions
- Background Check
- Applicable Fees
- Completed and Signed Online Application

How do I obtain an Mississippi home inspector license?
To apply for a home inspector license, contact the Mississippi Board of Registration of Home Inspectors at 617-701-8709 or visit their website. Mississippi requires 60 hours of training by approved providers. RocketCert does not currently offer this program.
Licensed home inspectors in Mississippi expire every two years based on the date of issuance. Mississippi requires 20 hours of continuing education biennially.
