How do I obtain an Arkansas home inspector license?
To apply for your license, contact the Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing at 501-296-1843 or visit their website. Arkansas requires 80 hours of classroom training. Approved pre-registration providers can be found by visiting the Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing Pre-Registration website.
Licensed home inspectors in Arkansas are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education every year. At least 8 hours of CE must be completed in-person. Certificate of completion will be required to renew your home inspector license, which expires annually on December 31st. License renewal must be filed by December 1st
