How do I become a CFPM in New Hampshire?

In New Hampshire, you can obtain your Food Protection Manager Certification online. To obtain your, certification you must complete a training course and then pass an exam. This certification expires every 5 years. For re-certification, you'll have to take an approved course and exam again.

What establishments do not need a CFPM?

Electrician Renewal Hours Exempt Establishments

The requirement for the person in charge (PIC) to be a CFPM does not apply under these conditions:

  1. Food establishments having at least one certified food protection manager on staff shall not be required to have the certified food protection manager present when no food preparation is taking place
  2. Food establishments having at least one certified food protection manager on staff shall not be required to have the certified food protection manager present when food preparation is limited to reheating commercially prepared food or ready to eat food
  3. Food establishments having 5 food employees or less on duty are required to have only one certified food protection manager who is available, although not required to be present, during all hours of operation
