The state of Indiana requires all alcohol servers (and those who check IDs for alcohol service) to complete approved alcohol server training. This certification must be obtained within 120 days of your hire. To obtain your Server Card you must complete an approved training course and then pass an exam. Our training course and will provide you with this required certification and useful information about the effects of alcohol and drug abuse as well as techniques for identification and intervention. This training helps to protect both the establishment and its patrons.

How do I become an Alcohol Seller / Server in Indiana?
In Indiana, the food handler card expires every 3 years from the date it was issued. For re-certification you must take an approved training course.

- handling situations involving an underage or intoxicated person
- checking the identification of an individual
- identifying an illegal identification of an individual
- handling situations involving individuals who have provided illegal identification
- recognizing certain behavior to assess the amount of alcohol an individual has consumed and may safely consume
