The state of California's Responsible Beverage Service Program is designed to encourage vendors and their employees to treat alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. The course will cover topics such as methods of recognizing and dealing with underage customers and laws & rules regarding the sale / consumption of alcoholic beverages. This type of training helps to protect both the establishment and its patrons.

What courses are available for me to take online?
How do I obtain my certification?
To obtain your certification, you must complete an approved Responsible Beverage Service training course and meet all of the requirements outlined below. In California, this certification must be renewed every 3 years.

All on-premises alcohol servers & managers must first register online though the RBS portal.
