Effective 5/8/2022, all active barbers, cosmetologists, nail technicians, aestheticians, hair stylists, waxing specialists, and instructors are no longer required to complete continuing education. House Bill 2325 passed during the 2022 West Virginia Legislative Session and removes continuing education as a professional license and certificate renewal requirement.
