Certified Advanced Esthetician Continuing Education
Certified advanced estheticians must complete at least 5 continuing education (CE) hours every certification year to maintain their license. However, CE attestation is required starting with the second renewal and for all subsequent renewals. Certification holders must keep CE documentation for 5 years after renewal and provide it to the Health Licensing Office upon request. An esthetician's license in Oregon expires on the last day of the month two years after the license was issued. The Oregon Cosmetology Board will mail a renewal application six weeks before the license expires, or the renewal can be done online. Compliance is documented through attestation on the renewal application.
