Cosmetology Instructor Continuing Education
Individual cosmetology instructor licenses in Nevada expire every two or four years. All licenses expire on the last day of your birthday month. License holders are required to complete either 30 or 60 hours of continuing education from an approved education provider depending on if they're licensed for 2 or 4 years. The CE topics are set by the board and must comply with their requirements. These renewal requirements apply to all Instructors of Cosmetology, Estheticians, and Nail Technology. How to I Renew my Nevada Cosmetology License?
In Nevada, you are required to complete 45 hours of state approved continuing education every 2 years in order to renew your license. The expiration date for all cosmetology licenses is the last day of your birthday month. Check your license for the year it will expire in.
