Plumbing Contractor
Texas Plumbing contractors are required to complete 6 hours of continuing education prior to each renewal. We offer the continuing education online in an easy to use self-paced format. Our course covers all of the required topics including code changes, plumber safety, as well as Texas plumbing rules/laws. How do I renew my Plumber license in Texas?
In Texas, the license expires every year. To renew, you are required to complete 6 hours of education and submit your renewal to the State.

What are the required topics and hours for my license?
Plumbing Contractor (6 hours)
- 3 hours must be in the subjects of health protection, energy conservation, and water conservation
- As of 9/1/2017, some of the hours can be completed by downloading the manual and submitting the answers to 150 questions via email, fax, or mail delivery (USPS)
