NYC Worker Site Safety Training Card
In New York City, a Site Safety Training (SST) Card is required in order to work on a site that requires a Site Safety Plan and a designated Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator, or Site Safety Manager.
To obtain a Site Safety Training (SST) Card, you must complete a 40-hour DOB approved training course. All of our training is offered in an online self-paced format. How do I complete the Site Safety Training?
To obtain this certification, you will need to complete a 40-hour Site Safety Training course. Our NYC Worker Site Safety Training course is online, self-paced and can be completed around your schedule!

How do I obtain a NYC Site Safety Training Card?
To apply for your card, contact the New york City Department of Buildings (DOB) at 212-566-5000 or visit their website.
To renew a card, workers must complete the required 8-Hour SST Refresher training with any DOB-Registered Course Provider within the 12 months before the card expires.
