Plumbing Continuing Education
Journey Plumbing licenses require 8 hours of continuing education and Plumbing Contractors must complete 16 hours each renewal period. All of our courses have been reviewed and approved by the state board. We developed this education alongside actual Plumbers because we want our education to help you improve your knowledge of the codes and regulations that relate to your job.
As of October 2023, Idaho plumbers are no longer required to complete continuing education in order to renew their licenses.
How do I renew my Plumbing license in Idaho?
In Idaho, the license expires every three years. For example, if it was issued April 4th 20XX, it will expire April 30th, 3 years later. To renew, you are required to complete either 8 or 16 hours (depending on license type) of education and submit your renewal to the State.
