Roofing Contractor Continuing Education
Florida Roofing Contractors are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education prior to each renewal. Miami Dade county requires all licensees to obtain 2 hours of additional CE. Please Note: The courses below do not currently fulfill the cladding, stucco, plastering and lath application requirement for the 2026-2028 renewal period. How do I renew my Roofing license in Florida?
In Florida, the license expires every two years. Registered Roofing licenses expire on August 31 of odd years, and Certified Roofing licenses expire on August 31 of even years. To renew, contractors must complete 14 hours of education and submit your renewal to the Florida DBPR, Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
