Master / Journeyman Electrical Continuing Education
Electrical renewals in Delaware can be a bit confusing if you've been licensed for less than two years. If an electrician is licensed for one year, but less than two years, 5 hours of continuing education are required at the first renewal. Additionally, 10 hours are required at the second renewal period with at least 5 covering NEC. After the initial two renewals, Journeyperson Electricians are required to obtain 5 hours. Master and Residential Electricians are required to complete 10 hours of continuing education. We've got online continuing education that has been approved by the Board of Electrical Examiners. How do I renew my electrical license in Delaware?
In Delaware, Electrical licenses expires on June 30th of even years. To renew, you are required to complete either 5 or 10 hours of education (depending on license type) and submit your renewal to the State.
