If you hold a Residential or General Electricians license in California, you are required to complete 32 hours of approved continuing education and 2000 hours of work experience prior to each renewal. How do I renew my Residential or General Electrical license in California?
Electrical licenses in the state of California expire every 3 years on the original license date. To renew, you are required to have 2000 work hours in the electrical field and complete 32 hours of continuing education, then submit your renewal to the State prior to the license expiration date.
