How do I renew my Building Code Enforcement license in Oklahoma?
In Oklahoma, Code Enforcement licenses must be filed for renewal every year. To renew your license, 6 hours of continuing education courses must be completed. After that, you must submit your renewal to the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board.

- 6 total hours of board-approved continuing education covering code revisions and changes from the 2023 NEC, as adopted by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission (OUBCC).
- Renews every year from the date the license was issued.
- Oklahoma Mechanical Inspector:
- 6 total hours of board-approved continuing education covering code revisions and changes from the 2018 International Mechanical Code, International Fuel Gas Code, and International Residential Code, as adopted by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission (OUBCC).
- Renews every year from the date the license was issued.
