Licensed Body Piercer Continuing Education
All licensed body piercers in Oregon are required to complete and maintain record of satisfactory continuing education every year. Licensees are required to complete 10 hours of continuing education, 5 hours can be taken by way of self study. Compliance is documented through attestation on the renewal application.

How do I renew my Body Piercing License in Oregon?
In Oregon, all body piercers are required to complete a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education every year. Licensees have the option to complete 5 hours through self study. After successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion.
You will need to hold on to the certificate as you will be responsible for maintaining your record of completion. You must maintain your records for five years following your renewal. To renew, license holders will need to "attest" that they have completed their annual training. HLO will be performing audits to ensure completion of the course.
