Electrical Continuing Education
Alabama Electrical Contractors are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education every 2 years. Journeyman are not required to complete continuing education. Electrical licenses expire at the end of each quarter: March 30th, June 30th, Sept. 30th, Dec. 30th. We offer the continuing education online in an easy to use self-paced format. How do I renew my Electrical Contractor license in Alabama?
The continuing education must be completed prior to each renewal every 2 years. Up to 6 hours can be carried forward. To renew, you must complete 14 hours of CE and submit your renewal to the State. Electrical Contractor licenses expire at the end of each quarter: March 30th, June 30th, Sept. 30th, Dec. 30th.
