An Idaho Public Works Contractor License is required for contractors and subcontractors performing construction, repair, or reconstruction work on publicly funded projects with an estimated total cost of $50,000 or more. This includes projects funded by the State of Idaho or another political subdivision authorized to award public works contracts.

How do I obtain a license?
To obtain an Idaho Public Works Contractor License, applicants must pass the required exam and apply through the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses.
