The Electrical Training Alliance, formed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), will provide additional opportunities for electrician training, including the use of an innovative mobile training center pilot and access to equipment and instruction in infrastructure hubs.

Additionally, the United Association's International Training Fund (ITF) and Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) are developing a roadmap to scale plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration training.

The International Training Institute for the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Industry will also receive funding to provide the necessary training to address critical shortages. Modernized coursework and apprentice support may allow more workers to receive training in this vital area.
